Intuitionistic Fuzzy Soft Rough Set and Its Application in Decision Making
The soft set theory, originally proposed by Molodtsov, can be used as a general mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainty. In this paper, we present concepts of soft rough intuitionistic fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy soft rough sets, and investigate some properties of soft rough intuitionistic fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy soft rough sets in detail. Furthermore, classical representations of intuitionistic fuzzy soft rough approximation operators are presented. Finally, we develop an approach to intuitionistic fuzzy soft rough sets based on decision making and a numerical example is provided to illustrate the developed approach
Introducing Depth into Transformer-based 3D Object Detection
In this paper, we present DAT, a Depth-Aware Transformer framework designed
for camera-based 3D detection. Our model is based on observing two major issues
in existing methods: large depth translation errors and duplicate predictions
along depth axes. To mitigate these issues, we propose two key solutions within
DAT. To address the first issue, we introduce a Depth-Aware Spatial
Cross-Attention (DA-SCA) module that incorporates depth information into
spatial cross-attention when lifting image features to 3D space. To address the
second issue, we introduce an auxiliary learning task called Depth-aware
Negative Suppression loss. First, based on their reference points, we organize
features as a Bird's-Eye-View (BEV) feature map. Then, we sample positive and
negative features along each object ray that connects an object and a camera
and train the model to distinguish between them. The proposed DA-SCA and DNS
methods effectively alleviate these two problems. We show that DAT is a
versatile method that enhances the performance of all three popular models,
BEVFormer, DETR3D, and PETR. Our evaluation on BEVFormer demonstrates that DAT
achieves a significant improvement of +2.8 NDS on nuScenes val under the same
settings. Moreover, when using pre-trained VoVNet-99 as the backbone, DAT
achieves strong results of 60.0 NDS and 51.5 mAP on nuScenes test. Our code

Simulation of CSSTs astrometric capability
The China Space Station Telescope (CSST) will enter a low Earth orbit around
2024 and operate for 10 years, with seven of those years devoted to surveying
the area of the median-to-high Galactic latitude and median-to-high Ecliptic
latitude of the sky. To maximize the scientific output of CSST, it is important
to optimize the survey schedule. We aim to evaluate the astrometric capability
of CSST for a given survey schedule and to provide independent suggestions for
the optimization of the survey strategy. For this purpose, we first construct
the astrometric model and then conduct simulated observations based on the
given survey schedule. The astrometric solution is obtained by analyzing the
simulated observation data. And then we evaluate the astrometric capability of
CSST by analyzing the properties of the astrometric solution. We find that the
accuracy of parallax and proper motion of CSST is better than 1 mas( yr1) for
the sources of 18-22 mag in g band, and about 1-10 mas( yr1) for the sources of
22-26 mag in g band, respectively. The results from real survey could be worse
since the assumptions are optimistic and simple. We find that optimizing the
survey schedule can improve the astrometric accuracy of CSST. In the future, we
will improve the astrometric capability of CSST by continuously iterating and
optimizing the survey schedule.Comment: 17 pages, 10 figure
Strange Quasar Candidates with Abnormal Astrometric Characteristics from Gaia EDR3 and SDSS (SQUAB-II): Optical Identifications
There are some strange quasars with multiple Gaia detections or observed with
abnormal astrometric characteristics, such as with large proper motions or
significant astrometric noises. Those strange quasars could be potential
candidates of quasar-star pairs, dual quasars (DQs), or lensed quasars (LQs).
Searching for both DQs and LQs is of great importance in many fields of
astrophysics. Here in this work, we select 143 SDSS spectroscopically confirmed
quasars that have multiple Gaia EDR3 detections within 1 arcsec of the SDSS
quasar' position. We apply several optical identification methods to classify
this sample. We firstly exclude 65 quasar-star pairs via their stellar features
including their parallaxes and proper motions, stellar features in the SDSS
spectra, or via the colour-colour diagram. Based on the spectral-fitting
results, we find 2 DQ candidates, one of which presents a double-peaked [O III]
emission line feature and the other shows a broad velocity offset
( 870 ) relative to the [O III] 5007 line. Via the
colour difference method, we further find 56 LQ candidates with similar colours
in their multiple images. We also cross-match 143 objects with the HST archive
and find 19 targets with archival HST images. Our classification results of

Inhibitory effects of diarsenic trioxide (As2O3) on hepatocellular carcinoma cells exerted by regulation of promyelocytic leukemia protein levels
Previous Chinese research revealed that diarsenic trioxide (As2O3) inhibits acute promyelocytic leukemia (PML) cell proliferation and initiates apoptosis through degradation of the PML-retinoic acid receptor protein. This study was to analyse whether As2O3 also had an effect on hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells. As2O3 effects on various HCC cell lines and primary HCC cells were investigated in time and dose series, including measurements of cell growth, PML mRNA and protein expression, xenografted tumor formation, and the self-renewal Oct4 and hepatocyte marker expressions in mouse model xenografts or cells treated with PML siRNA. The results were analyzed by immunocytochemistry, quantitative reverse transcription PCR and western blotting as well as indocyanine green and Periodic Acid Schiff staining. As2O3 inhibited HCC cell and HCC cell-derived xenograft tumor formation in a time-dependent manner and reduced PML protein expression in HCC cells, but had limited effects on PML mRNA levels in cell nuclei. The HCC cell line HuH7 treated with As2O3 showed a decreased expression of alpha-fetoprotein and increased expression and transcription of mature hepatocyte markers, indicating differentiation of HCC cells into hepatocytes. Cytokeratin 18 protein and mRNA levels as well as tyrosine aminotransferase and apolipoprotein B mRNA transcriptions were enhanced by As2O3 as were the numbers of indocyanine green and Periodic Acid Schiff stained cells. In addition, As2O3 downregulated the expression of Oct4. In conclusion, since As2O3 inhibited HCC cell proliferation and HCC cell-derived xenograft tumor formation it is suggested that an appropriate concentration of As2O3 might be a promising therapy to treat HCC
detrex: Benchmarking Detection Transformers
The DEtection TRansformer (DETR) algorithm has received considerable
attention in the research community and is gradually emerging as a mainstream
approach for object detection and other perception tasks. However, the current
field lacks a unified and comprehensive benchmark specifically tailored for
DETR-based models. To address this issue, we develop a unified, highly modular,
and lightweight codebase called detrex, which supports a majority of the
mainstream DETR-based instance recognition algorithms, covering various
fundamental tasks, including object detection, segmentation, and pose
estimation. We conduct extensive experiments under detrex and perform a
comprehensive benchmark for DETR-based models. Moreover, we enhance the
performance of detection transformers through the refinement of training
hyper-parameters, providing strong baselines for supported algorithms.We hope
that detrex could offer research communities a standardized and unified
platform to evaluate and compare different DETR-based models while fostering a
deeper understanding and driving advancements in DETR-based instance

Beat People but Not Face: The Role of Perceived Face Threat in the Influence of Abusive Supervision on Employee Feedback Seeking
One of the purposes for superiors to abuse subordinates is to obtain a positive response from subordinates by conveying a negative attitude. However, abusive behavior cannot guarantee positive behaviors due to the differences in subordinates’ characteristics, such as feedback seeking. Based on the conservation of resources (COR) theory, this study explores the relationship between abusive supervision by superiors and feedback seeking by subordinates in East Asian cultures. Questionnaires were collected from multiple time points and multiple sources. Datum analysis was performed on 318 paired questionnaires between employees and direct supervisors. The results showed that: (1) Employees’ perceived face threat has a mediating effect on the relationship between abusive supervision and feedback seeking. (2) Self-affirmation of subordinates positively moderates the relationship between abusive supervision and perceived face threat. (3) Self-handicapping of subordinates positively moderates the relationship between perceived face threat and feedback seeking. This not only explains the mechanism of perceived face threat in the influence of abusive supervision on employees’ feedback-seeking behavior, but also reveals the boundary effect of employees’ self-affirmation and self-handicapping characteristics in it, which expands the theoretical explanation framework of the influence of abusive supervision on employees’ feedback-seeking behavior and also provides new ideas for managers to better implement management in the organization
